Alice Springs Desert Park Precinct

Located at the base of the spectacular West MacDonnell Ranges, the Desert Park is a tourism and conservation facility that is closely connected to the local Arrernte people. Their stories and history, together with the plants and animals they are responsible for, are told through the interpretation and creation of three distinct desert habitats of the central desert environment.

Between 6:30pm and 10:30pm during the Festival The Desert Park will be home to the spectacular lighting of the MacDonnell Ranges, the Spaces on Country light installations and the Festival Hub.

During the days, visitors can attend the park itself. See their website for entry fees and schedule of events and check out more information here.
