Itinerary Two – 14th April
CURATED BY Rhoda Roberts AO
Rhoda Roberts AO is the first Indigenous art curator for Parrtjima. Working closely with the Parrtjima Festival reference group, aboriginal artists and art centres, Rhonda has helped develop the narrative to bring Parrtijima to life.
Rhoda’s achievements span from the creative direction of the Awakening Segment of the 2000 Sydney Olympics to co-founding of the Aboriginal National Theatre Trust, but it’s her passion for the arts that creates such emotive and moving experiences.
With Rhoda’s direction, this year’s festival theme ‘Cultural Freedom’ celebrates the different ways Aboriginal artists’ practices have evolved through new styles and materials while remaining true to the ancient philosophy of connection and country.

TRIP PLANNER FOR April 14th
Below, you’ll find some of my favourite spots in Alice. Take some time to yourself at a cafe the local’s love, drop in to visit Ellery Creek Big Hole and bring your best (or worst) dance moves to the front row of Baker Boy’s gig, all in 24 life-changing hours.
Theses tips are for Saturday the 14th, but we invite you to come along earlier and stay as long as you like.
