Parrtjima 2020 will present a unique and unforgettable experience at Desert Park, using the latest technologies to showcase the world’s oldest living culture in new and extraordinary ways.
This experience will include the MacDonnell Ranges show, an innovative site layout including a new meeting space created to experience Werte (Welcome) which features three signature light installations, Arleye (Emu) – Children’s Play Area, as well as the return of Grounded, an animated sequence of curated artworks projected on to the sands of Desert Park.
You can gather with friends and family at Apmere (home) located in the Desert Park courtyard to chill and relax after marvelling at the spectacular Ranges Show and illuminated sculptures.
A new focus will come to Todd Mall in the CBD of Alice Springs in 2020. For the first time, a big stage will be established with a variety of activities and live performances on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings over both weekends of the Festival.
Please note the Lighting of the MacDonnell Ranges show is best viewed from 7pm at the earliest, due to the levels of daylight.
